jackpot report week 39

Check out our Jackpot Report Week 39 where we bring you news of a recent £5.7 million Mega Moolah payout that happened last Saturday! (Image from Tumisu at pixabay.com)

Not only have we reached the end of another week, but this report actually also coincides perfectly with the end of the month. For somebody out there, the end of September has proved a life-changing one, as they are now £5,747,783 richer thanks to Microgaming’s Mega Moolah progressive jackpot.

That payout occurred last Saturday, just a day after our previous jackpot report. It is not clear which of the many Mega Moolah jackpot slots this win came from or from which platform. It is just nice to know that someone somewhere is happy after we have endured a quiet couple of weeks on the jackpot front.

In fact, that is the first 7+ figure win since one lucky punter walked away with £5,757,783 on Microgaming’s WowPot progressive jackpot network in the middle of August. That figure is still well short of some of the biggest wins of the year, but we doubt the person that won it is complaining too much! There have been two Mega Moolah payouts of over £10 million in 2022 and one WowPot win that went for a staggering £14 million.

As for the other jackpots, there were no other winners of note during the past week. None over 6-figures at least.

Fun Fact: Games Global is now the owning company behind the WowPot and Mega Moolah progressive jackpot networks after acquiring the firm’s large portfolio of games earlier this year.

The Status of the Major Progressive Jackpot Networks

As mentioned, aside from the big Mega Moolah jackpot win, there is nothing much else to talk about apart from the current size of the other jackpots. Playtech’s Jackpot Giant is out in front with a current value of €6,706,609, but seeing as that has not paid for over 1,100 days, we get the feeling it may never go. Hall of Gods and the WowPot both look tasty at around €4 million, but it is the former we would suggest playing. That is simply because the latter has not hit its average payout sum as of yet.

As you will see in the accompanying table, it is smaller jackpots such as the King Cashalot, MegaJackpots, and Gladiator that look the most likely to payout at the moment. The rest we suggest leaving until they grow a bit bigger and have gone past their average payout frequency.
