Casinoplusbonus was in the nomination category for the ‘BEST CENTRAL EUROPE AFFILIATE 2023'; however, we missed adding to our trophy cabinet. Leon Casino was also on the shortlist, which Jack Bannon published in our CasinoPlusBonus is Nominated in SiGMA Europe Awards news.
We can't pretend that we are not disappointed! It is what it is. You win some, you lose some. Yet, the team here at Casinoplusbonus feels honoured to have made it to the shortlist of 5 affiliates nominated. Considering the number of affiliates out there, which is in the thousands, making it into the top 5 is a heck of an achievement.
The way the voting system works is not like other industry awards. In this event, 70% of the notes are by judges and 30% by the public.
For that 30%, people across the World Wide Web get to vote, so it is a free-for-all no matter whether you are a player, operator, software provider, or aggregator. This is what makes the SiGMA Awards special. It gives us a diverse set of results when it comes to awards. As with casino gaming, we always love to see brands do something different from the rest of the crowd, so kudos to SiGMA for their efforts.
Also, kudos to the event overall because this is a charity event with all proceeds going to the SiGMA foundation. What's more, the event is still going! There is so much going on; I wish I were there! Also, on the topic of charity, there were also several items for sale specifically to raise more money for charity. Brilliant!

SiGMA Europe B2B Award Winners Round Up
I have listed some of the notable brands that won awards. We often mention these companies on Casinoplusbonus because of their player-first approach to iGaming.
- SOFTSWISS: One of the largest online casino aggregators and the owner of slot developer BGaming. This year, SOFTSWISS has won awards in the EiGE 2023, SBC Awards, SIGMA Awards Eurasia, Global Gaming Awards, and International Gaming Awards. Yesterday, the aggregator added the ‘Best Aggregator' to its trophy cabinet. Famous casinos using the SOFTSWISS platform reviewed here on Casinoplusbonus include Bitkingz, Crocoslots, and N1Casino.
- CreedRoomz: This is a live casino brand to watch closely. Initially operating under the name BetConstruct, it is now rebranded to CreedRoomz. Its growing collection of live dealer games is impressive, with the company looking to challenge the top dogs in the industry, like Playtech, Vivo Gaming, and Evolution. As a reward for its efforts, judges voted the live dealer brand worthy of the ‘Best Live Casino Provider' award. Last year at the SBC 2022 event, Creedroomz won ‘Bronze' for the ‘Live Casino Supplier' award, while Evolution took gold and Playtech silver.
- Aviator – SPRIBE: Another brand that continues to shine in industry award events is SPRIBE. It won the ‘Most Played Game' award in this year's SIGMA Europe 2023 event. If you read last month's EGR Operators 2023 Awards news, you'll already know SPRIBE also won the ‘Game of the Year' award for Aviator. If not, well, now you know! And there's more. SPRIBE won the ‘Industry Innovation of the Year' at the SBC Latino American Awards 2023!
SiGMA Europe B2C Award Winners Round Up
As with the B2B awards, in the B2C awards section, there are some notable brand names to mention. Also, this award portion of the event raised 47k for the SiGMA foundation.
- Leon Casino & Sports (Rising Star Operator): It comes as no surprise that Leon Bet won the Rising Star Operator award. - BC.Game (Best Casino Operator): This company recently came across our path at Casinoplusbonus. I wrote a review covering the casino platform with some impressive crypto gaming.
