Ontario's Unstoppable Momentum
October 2025 isn't just another solid month; it's a massive statement. With total wagers exceeding $9 billion and revenue surpassing $360 million, Ontario has firmly established itself as North America's premier regulated iGaming market. Casino gameplay remains king, responsible for 85% of wagers and 83% of revenue. Sports betting is back in beast mode after summer doldrums, and poker continues providing steady returns despite its October dip.
What impresses most isn't just raw growth but the quality. Active accounts are up, ARPPA is holding firm, and we're seeing healthy expansion across verticals. This isn't unsustainable promotion-driven growth; it's a mature ecosystem where players return because the product works. With the holiday season approaching and major sports in full swing, November and December could post even stronger numbers.
