Greentube, the Novomatic-owned casino games development company that specialises in the development of virtual video slots and table games, has expanded its footprint in the US market after securing a Michigan state license. This license means that the firm can enter into partnerships with online gambling operators in the state to offer its extensive portfolio of high-quality online casino games.

The second US license the firm has after New Jersey means Greentube is now successfully making its mark stateside. Potential partners can offer the full range of titles offered by one of Europe’s leading iGaming development brands.

This includes recent video releases such as Power Prizes™ – Noble Peacock™, Wild Ranger, Apollo God of the Sun™, Prized Panda™and it’s Diamond Cash™ series which currently comprises Mighty Elephant, Mighty Sevens, and Oasis Riches.

Aside from those and the full range of video slots, Greentube can also offer a wide range of virtual table games. This includes popular titles such as Lux Blackjack, Globe Roulette, and Royal Crown 3 Card Brag. The firm also develops video poker and bingo titles that can also feature at any partnering Michigan online casino.

Novomatic, the parent company of Greentube, as per our Greentube/Novoline review here, purchased the firm in 2011 to form its online division. Novomatic previously operated predominantly in the land-based casino industry.

Greentube to Focus on the Emerging US Market

Greentube made its debut in the US back in September 2021 after securing a license to operate in New Jersey and quickly partnering with Golden Nugget Online Gambling in the state. The company further stamped its mark on New Jersey in January with a content partnership deal with Rush Street Interactive, a deal that meant its content would now feature at PlaySugarHouse in New Jersey.

However, Greentube is focusing on all US markets, so the news that it has gained a Michigan state license is big for the firm. Greentube also confirms that it is planning future launches in Pennsylvania and Connecticut, the two other states that currently allow online casino gambling.

In other recent news regarding Greentube stateside, the firm entered into a content partnership with GAN (Game Account Network), a social gaming platform that powers 16 social online casinos across the US.

Social online casinos should not be confused with typical online casinos. They offer casino games such as titles from Greentube, but players play for points rather than money. This is why Greentube’s titles will now feature in many states where online gambling is illegal because players do not actually gamble.
