The biggest progressive jackpot news in recent days is the announcement that Relax Gaming’s Dream Jackpot has paid out for the 8th time since launching in early 2021.

A lucky player playing at Casumo Casino spun in a €2,311,598 jackpot from a €0.60 stake on the 5K Gold Mine Dream Drop from 4ThePlayer.

The Dream Drop is proving to be one of the most prolific progressive networks. Not many others have created 8 millionaires in a little over a year. The previous payout of  €2.4 million in March this year.

The WowPot Jackpot Approaches £27 Million

Aside from the Dream Drop, the other major progressive jackpots have stood firm for another week. The biggest of those is, of course, the WowPot, which now stands at £26,712,517 (at the time of writing). As you will know, when this jackpot finally pays, it will become the new Guinness Book of Records entry for the world’s largest-ever online jackpot payout.

The jackpot Giant from Playtech is another that continues to grow with each passing week. It has now passed the €7 million mark. Then, just a million behind that is the Mega Moolah, a jackpot that only paid out not too long ago.

Although not online, I just had to comment on this recent story – just because, well, it’s quite the story and funny. A woman playing on a video poker machine at the Sycuan Casino Resort in San Diego, obviously turned away in delight when the screen showed she had won a jackpot worth more than a quadrillion dollars. Now, seeing as there is not enough money in the world, let alone at that casino, to pay her, this was an obvious glitch. However, the woman ‘asked for the rules’ as she believed she should get paid. Unfortunately, those rules showed that such glitches meant that all malfunctions result in a voided bet and win – the woman, unfortunately, left with nothing.

There were another 18 other winners since our last jackpot review, although these were much smaller than what the Dream Drop paid. Still, a win is a win! These came from jackpots such as the Mega Moolah Major, AOTG Super Power, CashSplash, Treasure Nile, and Jackpot Bells.

As is usually the case, most of these came from Playtech’s Age of the Gods Super Power. It paid out 7 times in total with the biggest a €45,967 win on April 30. The Mega Moolah Major was responsible for the largest jackpot, paying £54,872 on May 3.
