Progressive Jackpot Report Week 3 2023 – Yggdrasil Mega Jackpot Goes for €2.4 Million!

Welcome back to our latest jackpot report where we have news of the second 7-figure jackpot win of 2023. Before you all frantically check to see if the WowPot has finally paid, we can tell you that it was Yggdrasil’s global progressive jackpot that has paid.

Just yesterday, somebody scooped €2,410,393 playing one of the two slots that pool that jackpot. We do not have too much information, but that payout would have come from either Joker Millions or Empire Fortune.

Yggdrasil’s progressive jackpot network might not attract the attention and status of Microgaming’s Mega Moolah or WowPot, or many of the other well-known jackpots such as Age of the Gods. However, it has paid out some impressive jackpots since launching in 2015.

The biggest of those was a €7,831,370 payout scooped by an anonymous Swedish player when playing at LeoVegas in 2018. Of the most recent before this latest win, that jackpot paid out €6,026,723 in January 2022. This jackpot actually pays out €2,985,974 on average and it has been won 17 times in total. That is an average payout frequency of 22 weeks and 5 days.

A Flurry of 5-Figure Wins in Our Jackpot Report Week 3 2023

While many of you strive to win one of the millionaire-maker jackpots available, we doubt you would turn your noses up at a 5-figure payout. These happen far more often at online casinos and they can provide a huge boost to the bankrolls of the players lucky enough to win them.

Since the Mega Moolah paid out in time for our first jackpot report of 2023, it has been fairly quiet regarding the other major progressive jackpot slots and networks. Secretly, I am glad about that as I want to see the world record broken by the WowPot. The current total is less than £800k shy of that £9.4 million win recorded in 2021. At its current growth rate, it could beat that sum within the next couple of weeks.
