Pragmatic Solutions, the leading iGaming and betting provider, is the latest company to add the Neccton Mentor responsible gambling software to its services. As an aggregation platform, Pragmatic Solutions can now offer its customers access to the Mentor responsible gambling player protection tools as well as anti-money laundering and fraud detection tools.
The firm becomes the latest to appreciate the effectiveness of the tools in combating online gambling addiction. Other iGaming brands that have implemented the Mentor software include North Star and PressEnter.
The Pragmatic Solutions’ aggregation platform allows operators to receive an out-of-the-box online casino and betting solution. Operators can focus on the business side of things while letting Pragmatic Solutions handle payments, regulatory compliance, and customer support. Operators can simply hand pick the casino games, software developers, licensing, and payment solutions they wish to offer via their online platforms.
With Neccton’s Mentor software now added to Pragmatic Solutions offerings, those operators can now choose which or any of the responsible gambling tools to implement on their platforms.
The digital mentor uses real-time data analysis to track player behaviour and detect patterns that could suggest a player has a gambling problem. The software can quickly recognise and spot triggers. When the software detects behaviour that suggests a potential gambling problem, it then informs the operator and the player. For the latter, the software will attempt to guide and advise the player to make better-informed decisions. Triggers include when a player increases the value or frequency of deposits or starts betting at higher stakes than usual.
Customers of Pragmatic Solutions include some of the biggest iGaming companies in the world. While you might think that gambling operators benefit from problem gamblers, this is not entirely true. Research has shown that gamblers who gamble responsibly remain loyal to online casinos and have a significantly longer customer lifetime. Essentially, they are worth more to platforms than those with gambling addiction.

It is hoped that AI-driven technology such as Mentor can help tackle a problem that, if undetected, can cause harm to individuals and families around the world. Problem gambling is an area that many regulatory bodies and governments are striving to reduce. Just recently, the UKGC revealed that problem gambling rates had dropped to 0.2% across the UK. That shows that measures, guidance, and responsible gambling tools such as Mentor are slowly making an impact.
If you feel that, you or somebody you know has a gambling problem, please seek help immediately. There are some fantastic organisations out there that can give you the support and guidance that you need. Gamcare, GamStop, and BeGambleAware are just some of the organisations we recommend you get in touch with. Always gamble responsibly with money you can afford to lose.
