It is that time of the week once again when we check the current status of some of the biggest and most popular progressive jackpot slots and networks. Much like in last week’s report, there is no major news on the ten jackpots that we currently track. After a month, which has seen two of them payout, such as a £4,147,104 Mega Moolah windfall, it is looking increasingly likely that it might be all for June. Still, we do have another week to go, so you never know!

It has not been a totally quiet week on the progressive jackpot front, as Relax Gaming’s new Dream Drop progressive network has just paid out its first jackpot. While not one of the progressive jackpots we are tracking, (we may have to have a rethink on that), it is still a progressive, and thus we will bring you news on it.

One lucky punter took down the €997,779.17 jackpot yesterday after a single bet of just €2. This was on the Snake Arena jackpot slot, the second Relax Gaming slot after Temple Tumple 2, to feature the jackpot. This progressive works differently from others as it has a must-win level that increases by 500k after every win. The max win level for that win was set at it €1 million but it paid out just shy of reaching that target. The next must-win level is €1.5 million while that level will increase after every win up to a cap of €10 million.

Biggest Jackpot Win So Far in 2022? Currently, the biggest progressive patyout as we approach the halfway point of the year is the £12,792,841 that the Mega Moolah paid out back in May. A quick look at the table accompanying this article will tell you that figure could be beaten as Microgaming’s WowPot jackpot currently stands at £12,429,770.

All Remaining Jackpots Continue to Grow, Brew, and Show Potential

As mentioned, as long as the WowPot does not payout within the next week or so, we could have a jackpot that will beat the previous record so far in 2022. That said, it would take some going to beat the £19,429,692 that was paid out last year on the Mega Moolah network. The longer the WowPot goes without a winner, the longer the chances improve of getting near to that sort of target.

As for the rest, the table will show you that the jackpot slots from Microgaming, NetEnt, IGT, and Playtech remain intact although a bit bigger compared to last week. Of those that we recommend playing, that has to be the WowPot jackpot network and progressive slots such as Jackpot Giant, King Cashalot, Major Millions, Gladiator, and perhaps Hall of Gods.

As you will see in the table below, we track 10 jackpots. We look at their average payout, average payout frequency, their current jackpot, and how long it is since they have paid out. Using that information, we then calculate whether each jackpot is at a point in time whereby it is due a win. For instance, the Arabian Nights jackpot slot usually pays out every 30 days on average and pays out an average of £1,162,621. Currently, the jackpot is £1,578,181, and it has been 252 days since it last paid. That tells us that it is past its averages and is thus a jackpot slot that going on past history, ‘should' pay soon.

That said, it is not an exact science, as some jackpots pay out a lot quicker than their averages. This happened a few weeks ago with the Mega Moolah. They can trigger at any time as the RNG software is totally random. Still, at least the information is a decent indicator.
