As many of you cheer and celebrate the end of another tough week at work and look forward to a weekend full of jackpot hunting at the online casinos, we’re back to bring you our latest update on how most of the major jackpots are looking right now.
Well, we can tell you that most of the jackpots still stand, including the ‘big two’, the Mega Moolah and WowPot from Microgaming. However, after weeks of there being no winners of the major progressive jackpot networks we are tracking, we can finally tell you that somebody somewhere is now £1.7 million richer after landing the jackpot from IGT’s MegaJackpots!
Like many that we’re following, the MegaJackpots have been primed for paying out for some time. This win came 433 days after the last, when the average payout frequency was previously every 57 days on average. Of course, after that win, that average has now increased to every 75 days on average. Plus, the jackpot had grown to over double that of the average payout of £893,634. That has now been adjusted too and stands at £919,714.
Although that £1.7 million payout pales in comparison to some other jackpots that remain intact, we’re pretty sure the winner has not scoffed at winning this life-changing sum of money!

Well, as you can see from the image above, the progressive jackpots from Microgaming are continuing to increase. The Mega Moolah (£9,912,867) has now overtaken the WowPot (£9,783,399) as the largest progressive jackpot around. If you follow previous results, both are now overdue. They have both grown to more than the average payout and have each gone beyond the average payout frequency. However, as you know, these jackpots have been won at double the above values previously, so it’s not a guarantee that they will payout anytime soon. As for the Major Millions, this is a standalone jackpot that only grows as players play that particular slot. However, it is still a jackpot slot that is overdue, according to historical statistics.
Playtech’s Jackpot Giant is another one that we would class as hot. Sitting at €6,401,013 it has gone close to 950 days without paying out, which is staggering when the average payout frequency is 159 days.
Beyond those three, there are smaller jackpots offered by the likes of NetEnt’s Mega Fortune, Hall of Gods, and Arabian Nights, Microgaming’s King Cashalot, and Playtech’s Gladiator. However, we would suggest avoiding the former two for the time being, as they are classed as warm rather than hot.
