Do you believe in Ancient Aliens? The Pyramyth video slot blends ancient Egyptian culture and mythology into a futuristic theme! (Images from thunderkick.com)
The developers at Thunderkick have really gone above and beyond here with their brand new Pyramyth video slot release. A 5×3 video slot, set in a futuristic world where ancient Egypt has been blended in which will no doubt spark off rumours that Pyramids were built by gods that came from outer space – for those of you that have watched the popular America TV series – Ancient Aliens. And underneath this futuristic Egyptian slot, there is plenty of action on the reels which come with a 96.17% RTP and high variance gameplay over 5 reels with 15 pay lines.
Thunderkick has kept the animations on the low side, but we are treated to some tremendous views of the Ancient Egyptians combining with a modern world.
Pyramyth is a slot that captures the wealth of Ancient Egypt and presents that well in this slot. We can see on the 5×3 reel set the elegance and mystery that was around during that era. A golden framed reel set with similarly magnificent symbols to compliment it. In the backdrop we can see the two colossal statues of Horus, the Egyptian god, looking over the city. According to mythology, the falcon god is said to have represented the entire day during ancient times; in Pyramyth, the falcon god projects a feeling of hope and prosperity, which this video slot can deliver.
The soundtrack is not too overpowering. There is a subtle music track that has been inspired by ancient North Africans; we can hear that sound of adventure and curiosity seeping through. The interface is clear, each individual setting is easily found, as are the rules and the paytable. The game possesses charming graphics, not too much and not too little.
Highlights: Pyramyth is a 15-pay line online video slot with a minimum stake of 0.10 and max stake of 100.00. Features include Wild Pay Line Multipliers, Scatters, x32 Multiplier possibility, Sticky Respin, and more. This highly volatile video slot has a 96.17% theoretical RTP, and its Max Payout is worth a staggering 10,000x the triggering stake!
Pyramyth Online Slot Gameplay & Features
Thunderkick has integrated traditional gaming with a few modern features. There are 2 main features to benefit from in the main game, both of which can have incredible payouts attached to them. These are the traditional scatter symbols and the wild symbol both featuring prominently on Pyramyth to bring free spins and multipliers.
Wild Multipliers
A wild can be substituted for any symbol apart from a bonus scatter symbol to create a winning combination. Any pay line including a Wild symbol will have a multiplier based on the number of Wilds included in the pay line.
- 1x Wild – This will award a x2 multiplier added to any win where it is utilised.
- 2x Wild – This will award a x4 multiplier added to the win
- 3x Wild – This will award an 8x multiplier added to the win
- 4x Wild – This will award a 16x multiplier added to the win
- 5x Wild – This will award a 32x multiplier added to the win
Scatter Symbol
3 or more scatter symbols trigger the bonus game. The number of Free Spins awarded will depend on the number of scatters landed during that triggering spin as per the list below, while the scatter also pays multipliers and re-triggers free spins.
- 3x Scatter – This will award 10 Free Spins
- 4x Scatter – This will award 15x Free Spins
- 5x Scatter – This will award 20x Free Spins
- Moe scatter during free spins will trigger additional spins
- The scatter also pays 75x the spin bet for landing anywhere on the reels 5x
Free Spins Feature
Once landing at least 3 Scatter symbols on the reel set, you will be taken into Free Spins Feature mode. During this bonus game, every pay line win activates the Sticky re-spin feature. This gives a bigger chance to get more winning symbols. Winning symbols will be locked and the remainder of the symbols will re-spin. This means that on every free spin, you have the chance to fill all reels with winning combinations – presenting an opportunity at huge money on every spin!
During Free Spin Bonus Feature Game, collecting 3 Scatter symbols will award an additional 5 free spins to the current spin count.
If a Wild symbol is found, it will remain on the reels for the remainder of the Free Spins Bonus Feature. To add a sense of anticipation, the Wild will roam around its reel and settle in a new position before each new Free Spin. There are 10 regular paying icons, 4 high-paying and 6 low-paying. There is also the Scatter symbol that has a payout amount attached to it. The minimum combination for a same-symbol payout is 3, and it will pay in increasing values up to a combination of 5. Scatter symbols will give a payout with a 5-combination.
