The Global Gaming Awards Asia-Pacific 2024 awards recognise the top-performing iGaming and online sports betting suppliers and operators in the Asian market for the year. Additionally, awards are presented to land-based establishments, executives, and organisations for their social responsibility. About The Event
Nominations took place between January 10 and April 8, 2024. Companies were able to submit themselves through a self-nomination process. The nomination process began on 8 April, and the final shortlist was announced on 3 May 2024. Using the KPMG as an independent adjudicator, the judges began to deliver their votes to the Global Gaming Awards coordinators. Finally, on 4 June 2024, the list of award winners was announced on Day 2 of SiGMA Asia.
Overall, the voting panel comprised 30 industry-leading executives, all experts in their respective fields. Jeffrey Fong, the VP of Business Development-Asia, BMM Testlabs, Shuk Manoukian, the CMO of BetConstruct, Oscar Brodkin, the Managing Director of the Asia Pacific Sportradar division, and Phoebe Wong, the Regional Marketing Director of SA Gaming, were just four of the judges on the panel of thirty.
Where was the event held? The event was held at a luncheon at SMX Convention Center in the Philippines Manila on 4 June 2024.
The Award Winners
There were a total of 11 award winners. Three B2B supplier awards spread across sports betting, land-based casino game machine supply, and online casino supply. Likewise, three awards were dedicated to recognising excellence in B2C services, encompassing both online and land-based casino gaming, as well as sports betting. The remaining five awards were for product brilliance, land-based casino excellence, demonstrating a responsible approach towards gambling, and one for leadership.

Yet again, the Global Gaming Awards has given us another set of winners to test out for ourselves. That's precisely why we enjoy researching or attending these awards events. We see the award winners, and we can use the awards as a guide to which brands to test games from. We are already familiar with both Aristocrat and Pragmatic Play. Still, we'll also be looking out for IDX Games – X Stadium table game machine and games that feature the Aristocrat Gaming Dragon Link feature on the brand's land-based slots and pokies when we visit brick-and-mortar gaming venues hosting the game developer's cabinets.
